ICCAIS 

  • has been evolving to be one of the most reputable scientific events and forums internationally, and particularly in the Asia-Pacific. Since 2012, It has been IEEE technically co-sponsored conference, and managed its way to be annually organized and well-known outside of Vietnam, around Asia-Pacific inter-continent, i.e. China, Korea, Thailand and Australia, attracting hundreds of participants from more than 20 nations globally.
  • ICCAIS, featured rich and quality agenda, is a major international forum, a popular gathering place for not only current and future leaders and innovators to discuss and to present the state of art in Control, Automation and Information Sciences, but as well top postgraduate students from most prestigious institutions in science and technology. Along the development line, ICCAIS, in addition to traditional scientific conference scheme, incorporates tutorials, workshops, short courses as well as technology connect and innovation events.
  • ICCAIS 2025, hosted by the Korea Aerospace University at Jeju Oriental Hotel, Jeju island, Republic of Korea during 27-29 Oct 2025, is calling for contribution.

EIER

  • initiated since 2020 by a group of Vietnamese Australian professors and scientist as an International Workshop to foster scientific communication and exchange between oversea professors and Vietnamese scholars. Starting from 2024, due to its increasing attention and participation, EIER has been upgraded to be an Annual International Conference. 

  • The 2024 and 2025 editions of EIER have been Scopus indexed; and the 2026 edition will be again organized in Ho Chi Minh City during July 2026 by the National Institute of Applied Mechanics and Informatics.

Academy of Science and Emerging Technologies

ASET is a Vietnam registered Science and Technology organization (Registration No. 05/2025/CN-SKHCN), initiated by and affiliated to the National Institute of Applied Mechanics and Informatics (AMI), Vietnam. Its aims are to connect world renowned experts and scientists to the development of science and technology in Vietnam which includes expert consultancy, education and training, technology transfer, etc.

AFFILIATED SCIENTIST APPOINTMENT

ASET's affiliated scientist appointment (by invitation and nomination), formally known as ASET Affiliated Principal Scientist, is to recognize the academic contribution of scientists and senior scientists to join ASET's vision which connects world renowned experts for the development of science and emerging technologies of Vietnam in particular and Asia-Pacific in general. Each appointment would be eligible for ASET's affiliated scientist research grants to facilitate the working connection and relevant contribution between the appointee and ASET.

Specialised courses on precision machine technology including electrical servo drive design, control system, machine materials, and etc. The courses are conducted by both industrial practitioners from leading precision machine industries as well as professors/experts from Australia and USA.

GRANTS & FUNDING

ASET would provide support to upcoming ICCAIS conference organizer  via its relevant sponsorship scheme,i.e. main conference sponsorship, track sponsorship, event sponsorship, etc.

ASET Merit awards would be granted during ICCAIS and EIER conference series

ASET provides an annual funding scheme to support scholars/professors/scientists for projects that lead to the development of prototypes, patents which are ready for technology-transfer in Vietnam. Each project would be worth of maximum AUD 5000.

ASET provides grants in terms of travelling support, services and relevant administrative duties for selected ready-to-transfer-to-Vietnam technologies. Each of the technology-transfer grants is worth of maximum AUD 2000.

ASET provides grants in terms of travelling support, services, publication costs and relevant administrative duties for selected research projects by affiliated scientist including the participation in ASET organised conferences and academic events. Each of the grants is worth of maximum AUD 5000.
